FUOCO E GHIACCIO
Certi dicono che sarà nel fuoco
che il mondo finirà, certi nel ghiaccio.
Per quello che ne so del desiderio,
io sto con quelli che hanno caro il fuoco.
Ma se dovessi estinguermi due volte,
io penso di saperne tanto d'odio
da dire che una fredda distruzione
resta altrettanto grande.
